A really overdue update
How long has it been since I last logged into Blogger? 2 weeks? 4 weeks? Or a month? I myself has lost count. Anyway, just a update on what had happened since my last login.
Dear is now lying in her bed, sneezing and sniffing intermittently. She's down with the flu. No visible temparature detected by my hand. Then again, the human isn't a really accurate indicator of fever. Even as I type now, she lies there silently. So serene and tranquil. Unlike the sneezing and wheezing her some 10 minutes ago.
Life has been pretty stable for me now. Just go to work day in and day out. It's the school holidays now but somehow I feel indifferent to it. It's just going to work everyday and holidays or not, it's just the same. I used to await holidays with eager anticipation but now, it's no longer the same. I guess I'll feel the same way again once I get back to school.
I'm now giving tuition to a going-to-be Sec 2 Normal Technical boy. To put it bluntly and frankly, his studies sucks big time. Really. No joke. I didn't expect things to be that bad. I guess there's still a lot more of such encounters that I have yet witness. For the first lesson, I asked him to give me the answer for 3a - b, given that a = 2 and b = 4. He said 28. You guys go figure out why he said so. I don't know how long this tuition thing is going to last. Just hope that I can outlast the entire episode.
For those of you out there who check on my blog every now and then, I give you my word that I'll update it at least once every 3 days. With lousy dialup, I just get pretty unmotivated to connect just to update my blog. "Get broadband then!", I hear some of you saying. Well, until the broadband prices are less than S$20, I won't be getting braodband any time soon. It's just plain stupid to pay so much for the so-called "high speed access". To think that they are so blantant to claim that it's high speed access. Bah!
